You'd Think I'd Be Better at This

This being keeping up with a simple blog.  I feel like all I do is update more than 6 months after the last post!

So where do I begin.....

Quinton has been fully potty trained since about a week after the last post (in July).  He still has accidents at night sometimes, but is good to go during the day!!  He is now 2 1/2!!  He is doing really well with his alphabet, counting, and colors.  Right now he is totally into trains (hence the new background), sports, and Mickey Mouse!  Well really all things Disney.  No doubt he is my kid!  He has so much fun playing with his friends and cousins.  He loves church and comes home all the time telling us the stories he has learned.

For Christmas, Gabe bought me the new Active 2 for the Wii.  I have been using it to workout with since Dec. 31 and have now lost 12 pounds!!  My goal is 30 by June.  So far I am averaging 1-2 pounds off a week, so if I can maintain that there should be no problem hitting my goal.  The workouts start easy and then get more intense the longer you use it.  You can create your own workouts and it tells you what your heart rate is and how many calories you burn in a workout.  There are milestones you earn as you go along which is a great motivator and makes it way more fun!!

Gabe has been sick for the better part of the last 3 months.  It started with bronchitis back around Thanksgiving and the cough never went away.  A couple of weeks ago, he was diagnosed with the flu and still had the cough!!  He is still coughing some, but not as badly!!  Qman and I didn't have flu shots this year so we got to take the Tamiflu right along with him.  Yeah!

We have the sweetest new niece and a new nephew and 1 more nephew who should be here any day now!!  So excited for all of these new cousins for Q to play with.  He loves seeing pictures of them and just looking at them.  If you ask him if he wants a brother or sister though he adamantly says "NO!"

That's all for us for now.  I could probably say more but don't want to write a novel!
