First Week Back
I have officially survived my first full week back at work! There were lots of tears, but in the end things went well. Quinton did a great job at Christy's. Her little boy, Brayden, loves playing with him. Every morning when I drop Quinton off, Brayden is ready and waiting with a smile and toys. When I pick him up, Brayden makes sure he tells Quinton good-bye. I am so excited to be able to spend the entire weekend with my sweet baby boy! I am going to soak up every second I have with him this weekend!!

I survived my first day back!
I survived my first day back at school!! I got up around 6 and got myself ready for school. Once I was ready, I fed Quinton and we played for a little while, and then I got him ready. I dropped him off at the sitter around 7:30. I cried from the time I left her house until I got to school!! I got a little teary-eyed once I got to school and lots of people asked how I was. That was really about all I cried! I went to the sitter's during my lunch to feed Quinton and got to change him and play with him for a few minutes before I had to head back to finish out my day. I was so excited to pick him up at about 4:15 this afternoon! Miss Christy, his sitter, said he had a great day!! That made Mommy feel a lot better!! Supposedly it gets easier from this point on. I really hope so because I don't think I can handle crying every morning. Gabe gets to watch him on Wednesday afternoons and I am a little jealouse about that.

So after watching Lydia and Quinton yesterday, I have officially decided that I don't want a 2nd child until the first one can better take care of himself. Lydia is a handful by herself! Thank goodness Gabe was home to help me tag team!! She was quite funny, however. She and Hamlet kept chasing each other around our coffee table. If she got back in the hallway or near the fromt door, Hamlet would bark until she came back to the living room. I think he kept a closer eye on her than anyone! My sister-in-law is definitely going to be busy when her 2nd one gets here sometime in the next month!

I am really not looking forward to going back to school on Monday (9/22). I have really enjoyed staying home with Quinton this summer. I know Miss Christy will take great care of him and that he will love being over there, I just really wish I could take him to school with me or stay home with him more!
Gabe and I are still looking for a church to call home. We have been visiting Northeast Baptist and Calvary Baptist. We are not sure where God is leading us yet, so keep praying for us.
Quinton is getting so big!! At his 2 month check up a couple of weeks ago, he was up to 11 lbs, 4 oz and 24 inches long!! I was going through his closet yesterday and came across the preemie outfits he wore the first couple of weeks after he was born (they were all that would fit!). I can't believe he has grown so much since then. I was a little sad. He is becoming more and more active every day. He has a blue elephant that someone gave us before he was born. It is one of his favrotie toys now. He will follow it back and forth with his eyes. If you put it close to his hands, he will pick it up and squeeze its crunchy ears and try to chew on its trunk. He is so cute with it! He smiles and talks more and more each day as well. He is growing up way to fast for his mommy!
Tomorrow my niece Lydia is coming over to stay for the day while her parents are at work. She is 16 months old and a handful on her own. I am really glad Gabe is on vacation this week so that he can help me with her and Quinton. 2 kids that close in age is not my idea of fun!!!
